Do people collaborate at FLDWRK, or just work near each other?
Both, and it depends on what you need. Some members come purely for focused work and appreciate the quiet energy. Others have found collaborators, clients, and partners through the community. The key is that collaboration happens organically, through genuine shared experience.
Can small teams work from FLDWRK?
Absolutely. Small teams can use coworking memberships together, and we have meeting rooms available for team sessions. Many teams appreciate having a space to work alongside each other without the overhead of a private office. If you need dedicated space later, we also offer private offices.
How do I choose the right membership tier?
Consider how often you'll use the space. Starter (up to 8 hrs/wk) is great for 1-2 days per week. Part-Time (16 hrs/wk) works well for 3-4 days. Full-Time (40 hrs/wk) covers most business hours, and Extended (65 hrs/wk) is for those who need early morning or evening access.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership?
Yes! You can change your membership tier at any time. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Just reach out to our team or update through your member portal.
What happens if I use more hours than my plan allows?
We'll let you know when you're approaching your limit. You can upgrade your plan or purchase additional hours as needed. We're flexible and want to make sure you have the access you need.
Do I get a dedicated desk or assigned seating?
Coworking memberships use our hot desk model—choose any available seat when you arrive. If you want a permanent spot, we offer dedicated desks starting at $500/month that include a reserved desk where you can keep your things, 24/7 access with digital key, a mailbox, $50 meeting room credit, and a meeting room rate discount. Can I bring guests or clients to the space?
Yes! Guests are welcome. If you need a private space for client meetings, you can book one of our four meeting rooms. Full-Time and Extended members receive monthly meeting room credits.
Is there a contract or commitment?
All memberships are month-to-month with no long-term commitment required. Cancel with 30 days notice.
What's included with the coffee benefit?
All members enjoy free drip coffee and iced coffee from our on-site coffee shop, Buenas Coffee. Espresso drinks and specialty items are available for purchase at member rates.
How do meeting room credits work?
Full-Time members receive a $25 monthly credit, and Extended members receive $35. Credits can be applied toward any meeting room booking. Both tiers also receive 25% off standard meeting room rates.
